MULTI CAMERA COVERAGE

Adding a 2nd or 3rd camera will allow us to capture different angles and viewpoints where the real action may be occuring.  This reduces the chance of missing an important activity and minimizes seeing only the backside of the main participants.  In churches their is less flexibility to move from position to position so this naturally restricts the ability of 1 camera to catch all the action.  A 2nd camera placed in a balcony or other superior position will capture most of the key activity in an overview shot while the main camera can capture direct closeups.  Each camera alternately edited will complement the other.  The cost difference between 1 & 2 cameras at the ceremony is negligable and adds weight to the value of choosing a 2 camera package.

EDITING

Capturing live events usually means there will be plenty of shots taken on the fly with occasional obstructions, jiggles and distracting movements.  Editing will allow us to take out unnecessary scenes and clean up the shots to make the final video more interesting to view.  We'll keep the pace flowing by focusing on the highlights and adding complementary background music in all the right spots.
 
TITLES MONTAGE

Instead of opening your video with a simple fade from black we can present a series of title pages that introduce all of the main participants in your wedding ceremony.  This includes the Bridal Party, Parents, Presiders, Readers, Ushers, Musicians, Assistants, and anyone else you feel is important to your event.  We'll set the montage to music of your choosing and this will set the tone for your wedding day video. 

PHOTO MONTAGE

You provide us with photos or any flat visuals and we'll edit an "In The Beginning" picture montage that intros the wedding day event.  Again, you can choose the music and organize the pictures as you like.  Simply number the visuals in the sequence you want and provide us with a music CD having songs you like.  Standard Montage should have 35 - 45 visuals however we often produce expanded versions on request, per quote.  Additionally we can produce a separate Montage video for you to present at either your rehearsal or reception.

RECAP MONTAGE

Like the Photo Montage we can edit a closing highlights montage to end your wedding day video with set to a song of your choice.  We'll take snapshots of your entire wedding day and dissolve between them in sequence to make your wedding video finish on a pleasing note.

WIRELESS MICROPHONE

Hearing the vows is an essential part of the ceremony and this is often difficult using only the on-camera microphone.  Adding a wireless mic, discreetly placed on the groom's lapel, will insure capturing the critical moments when your vows are exchanged and any other special dialog.

REHEARSAL COVERAGE

Capture your bridal party in casual clothes as they try and try again to get the initial run through right!  We'll stay in the background and shoot the fun interplay between your favorite friends and family while their all together in a less formal setting. 

BRIDE'S HOUSE COVERAGE

Your final moments before the big day kicks off...pre-ceremony photos with your bridesmaids, special moments with your parents and other precious scenes worthy of capturing for your final video.  These clips will intro the wedding day video following a titles montage.

PRE-RECEPTION GETAWAY COVERAGE

Now that the ceremony's over the newlyweds and their bridal party can unwind a little at a park or favorite sports bar.  Usually the photographer will take you to a fun location where group photos can be taken against a colorful backdrop.  We'll catch the fun on video and set the moment to music.

GIFT OPENING COVERAGE

Don't forget to capture the special moments when your opening all the cards and gifts from freinds and family on the following day.  What a nice way to close your wedding video as you document the highlights from rehearsal to gift opening.

ADDITIONAL VIDEOGRAPHER

Camera assistants can make that 2nd or 3rd camera view more interesting by panning, zooming and framing each shot.  Usually the 2nd camera is set in an elevated position in a wide shot that captures the main action without movement however there are occasions where zooms and reframing will significantly improve the footage.

EXTRA COPIES

At Big Event Video every copy is as good as the master with our in-house digital transfer system.  You'll want to provide a copy for each of the parents and why not give one to the best man and maid of honor?

SPECIAL PACKAGING

To make your wedding video look truely professional we can take your ceremony program and use it as a cover jacket for a clamshell case.  This makes for a nice keepsake and will protect the video copies for either storage or mailing.

HIGH DEFINITION "HDTV" FORMAT

Have your wedding video master produced in HD format for maximum picture quality.  This option must be selected prior to shooting and is an either - or choice versus standard digital formats.  You must have an HD player and HD television to capture the maximum quality provided by HDTV

ORIGINAL FOOTAGE COPY

In most cases we'll put all of the best scenes on your edited master however their are occasions where there's too much to fit in.  This is usually the case in packages where we provide additional events coverage (Rehearsal, bride's house, gift opening).  When this occurs we'll let you know and recommend purchasing the extra, edited footage.

MAIL/SHIP FINAL PRODUCT

All our finished videos are available for pick up at our main office in West Allis, Wi.  For brides who are out of the area we can ship the finished product along with any other materials at a nominal charge.
